Take this (Christmas gift)!
A drawing I made the other day as a Christmas splash image for TLW.net.
It's dedicated to the NES Legend of Zelda, with Old Man wearing a Santa hat (you know, the easiest trick to do Xmas-Zelda-related fanarts is chosing one of the many old white bearded characters and dressing him like Santa Claus
) and giving Link the very first sword of the series. A way to celebrate Christmas and the 25 years of the legendary game series at the same time. 
Truth to be told, I'd have liked to do a much more complex fanart based on this suggestive scene from the first TLoZ for the 25th anniversary, but I didn't have the time to do justice to that idea so I had to make do with this little piece.
That game has an elusive magic to it and I replayed it recently, while I was waiting for my copy of Skyward Sword... which I'm playing and appreciating right now. The moment in which Link takes his first sword is one of the most defining of almost every Zelda, the beginning of his voyage of discovery... and the way he points it upwards in this part of the first title links it naturally to the last one, Skyward Sword.
